Harris County Ready to Serve: Volunteer Initiative

By volunteering, you are becoming part of an initiative that builds a stronger system by:

  • Growing the number of trained, affiliated, and ready volunteers across the county
  • Strengthening coordination between Harris County, local Jurisdictions, VOADs, NGOs, and community groups
  • Ensuring we have sustained volunteer capacity before, during, and after disasters

Our goal is to have a prepared, coordinated, and reliable volunteer network ready to support Harris County when it matters most.
