UPDATE: Boil Water Notice for City of Houston

Harris County Public Health has verified the jurisdictions included in the City of Houston’s Boil Water Notice. Residents who get their water from:

City of Bunker Hill Village
City of Hillshire Village
Greenwood Utility District
HCMUD 182
HCMUD 400
HCMUD 422
HCMUD 537
HCMUD 220
HCMUD 372
HCMUD 420
HCMUD 461
HCMUD 8
Memorial Villages Water Authority
Municipal Operations, LLC Swae Gardens
Regional Water Adv. Comm. (RWAC)
Rolling Fork Public Utility District
West Harris County MUD 16
TPC Group Houston Plant
Tasfield Subdivision
Greens Parkway MUD
Sage Meadow Utility District

should continue boiling drinking water until further notice.

As a result of the Boil Water Notice, the public is advised:
*Do not drink the water without boiling it first.
*Bring all water to a boil for at least two minutes.
*Let it cool before using.
*Individuals without power to boil water are advised to use bottled water for consumption.

DETAILS ABOUT RESTORATION ESTIMATES: The City monitored water pressures across the city throughout the day. Water pressure was restored to all customers shortly after the power outage. If you are still experiencing low water pressure, please call 311.

When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the public water system officials will notify customers that the water is safe for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
