METRO | METRO Prepares for Winter Weather, Announces Service Adjustments and Safety Measures

METRO maintenance and safety teams have implemented winterization and safety measures across the system, including anti-icing treatments on HOV lanes, platforms and at transit centers.

METRO has staffing and operational resources in place across the system to maintain readiness, support emergency coordination and respond quickly as conditions change.

  • METROLift will operate only life-sustaining medical trips if conditions allow.
