METRO | METRO Holiday Schedule

In observance of Christmas and New Year’s Day, METRO will operate on the following schedule:

MONDAY, DEC. 24 (CHRISTMAS EVE)

TUESDAY, DEC. 25 (CHRISTMAS DAY)

  • Local bus routes will operate on a Sunday schedule.
  • METRORail service will operate on a Sunday schedule.
  • Park & Ride routes WILL NOT operate on this day.
  • All HOV/HOT lanes will be CLOSED on this day.

MONDAY, DEC. 31 (NEW YEAR’S EVE)

TUESDAY, JAN. 1 (NEW YEAR'S DAY)

  • Local bus service will operate on a Sunday schedule.
  • METRORail service will operate on a Sunday schedule.

  • All HOV/HOT lanes will be CLOSED on this day.

Christmas 2018

METROLift Reservations and Customer Service offices will be closedTuesday, Dec. 25, 2018. All subscription trips will be canceled.

To schedule trips forTuesday, Dec. 25, and Wednesday, Dec. 26, you must call the reservation line at713-225-6716 on Monday, Dec. 24, between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.


New Year’s 2019

METROLift’s reservations and customer service offices will beclosed Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019. All subscription trips will be canceled.

To schedule trips for Tuesday, Jan. 1, and Wednesday, Jan. 2, youmust call the reservation line at 713-225-6716 on Monday, Dec. 31, between thehours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

You may also schedule a trip from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. the day beforeyou need to travel by using MACS at 713-739-4690 or MACS-WEB.

All METRO buses and trains offer 100 percent accessible service.Call METRO Customer Service at 713-635-4000 or 713-635-6993 (TDD). Route andschedule information is available on the Web 24/7 at RideMETRO.org.
