Tropical Storm Delta Forms Near Jamaica
What is the danger?
Tropical Storm Delta, the 25th named storm of 2020, has formed off the southern coast of Jamaica. According to the National Hurricane Center Delta is currently moving west-northwest and will turn toward the United States Gulf Coast later this week. At this time, it is unlikely that Delta will impact Texas, but residents should monitor for changes to the forecast throughout the week. Tropical Storm Gamma remains in the Gulf of Mexico near the Yucatan Peninsula.
What you should do:
We are still in the middle of an historic Hurricane Season. While Tropical Storm Delta will unlikely impact Texas, you should still take time to make sure you and your family are prepared.
