Tropical Storm Nadine has Formed, Not a Threat to Texas

What is the danger?

Tropical Storm Nadine has formed in the eastern tropical Atlantic. It is the fourteenth named storm of the 2018 Atlantic hurricane season.

According to the National Hurricane Center, Nadine has formed southwest of the Cabo Verde islands in the far eastern Atlantic off the coast of Africa.

Nadine is no threat to land and is forecast to weaken to a tropical depression by Friday as it enters the central Atlantic.
