Tropical Storm Kirk Forms, Not a Threat to Texas

What is the danger?

Due south of the Cabo Verde Islands, Tropical Storm Kirk has formed in the eastern Atlantic and is the eleventh named storm of the 2018 Atlantic hurricane season. According to the National Hurricane Center, Kirk will continue moving west over the weekend, but does not pose a threat to the Texas Gulf Coast area.
