Tropical Storm Gordon Forms Near Florida

What is the danger?

The seventh named storm of the 2018 Atlantic hurricane season, Tropical Storm Gordon has formed near the Florida Keys. According to the  National Hurricane Center, Gordon will continue moving west to northwest along the eastern Gulf Coast with predicted landfall near the Louisiana-Mississippi border Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.

What you need to do:

The Harris County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management (HCOHSEM) will continue to monitor Gordon and reminds residents that hurricane season is underway.
