Subtropical Storm Leslie Forms, Not a Threat to Texas

What is the danger?

Moving slowly westward in the central Atlantic, Subtropical Storm Leslie has formed and is the twelfth named storm of the 2018 Atlantic hurricane season. According to the National Hurricane Center, Leslie is expected to be short-lived, but does not pose a threat to the Texas Gulf Coast area.
