Severe Weather Possible Through the Overnight Hours

The National Weather Service (NWS) is predicting a potential for severe weather in Harris County through tomorrow morning. Storms will affect areas north of I-10 starting this afternoon, then move south into the Houston area by this evening. Most of the severe weather will occur during the overnight hours. The storms are expected to move quickly, but lingering rain may affect the early morning commute. The primary threats include locally heavy rainfall, hail and damaging winds.
