Tropical Storm Isaac Forms West of Helene in Atlantic

What is the danger?

Located west of Tropical Storm Helene, Tropical Storm Isaac has formed in the eastern Atlantic and is the ninth named storm of the 2018 Atlantic hurricane season. According to the National Hurricane Center, Isaac will continue moving west over the weekend and could become a hurricane by Monday.

Harris County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management (HCOHSEM) urges residents to monitor all active tropical systems for the next several days for developments.
