Tornado Safety Tips |

(Harris County, TX) – The Harris County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management (HCOHSEM) and the National Weather Service (NWS) will be monitoring hazardous weather in our area region on Tuesday and Wednesday. Heavy rain, strong winds and isolated tornadoes are also possible. Tune into your NOAA radio and be on alert for possible tornadoes resulting from severe thunderstorms. Some signs of danger include:
If you encounter of these danger signs, be prepared to take shelter immediately. Residents can monitor weather conditions through the local media and at NWS www.srh.noaa.gov/hgx.
