Widespread Heavy Rainfall Likely This Week

National Weather Service (NWS) forecasters are warning that a weather system entering the region Tuesday will bring hazardous weather conditions through Wednesday, including a chance for tornados to develop.

NWS forecasts rainfall levels of 2-4 inches are likely in most areas with isolated pockets receiving up to 7 inches. Saturated grounds will significantly increase the potential for flooding of low lying areas and roadways.
