Tropical Storm Patty Forms, Not a Threat to Texas

Tropical Storm Patty, the 16th named storm of the 2012 Hurricane Season, has formed near the Bahamas in the western Atlantic Ocean.

Forecast models from the National Hurricane Center show the storm moving to the southwest. Patty will not threaten Texas or the Gulf region.

HCOHSEM will continue to monitor Tropical Storm Patty along with its partners at the National Hurricane Center and National Weather Service
