Mitigation specialists invite all Texans to talk preparedness July 9-14
AUSTIN, Texas – Join the more than 47,000 Texans who have learned from FEMA mitigation specialists at local home improvement stores how to better prepare their homes for natural disasters.

Hurricane season began in June, making it a great time to meet with a FEMA expert and learn how to prepare for extreme weather. Our mitigation specialists will provide tips and techniques on how to repair and build more hazard-resistant homes using proven methods to mitigate against future flood damage.
